Like most of the people my age, I used to watch the cartoon series and played with the He-Man toys. I only had three of them as a kid, but I remember being astonished by the collection of a friend who had dozens of cool characters.
Lately I started doing some fan art for fun, and Masters of the Universe was the thing that first came to my mind. Reviewing the old cartoon series recently, I realized how innocent it all really was. With this illustration I wanted to make a more adult representation of Skeletor and Evil-Lyn. Something appropriate for the present age of the old fans like me. I also though it would be fun to represent Evil-Lyn as the bad influence who whispers in Skeletor’s ear.
