Coming this October is a book to fill the void and celebrate the Renaissance of the Argentinian toy industry and the country itself. It is the first book dedicated to toys manufactured in Argentina and Latin America during the 1980s. Vintage Toys from Argentina begins its story in 1983 with the rise of democracy in the South American country. Co-authored by Daniel Segovia and Jorge Rodota, each page revels the never before told tales of how companies were able to fuel the fantasies of children of all ages.
Vintage Toys from Argentina features hundreds of photos including the complete run of the Masters of the Universe action gures made by Top Toys, the variants, the myths, and finally, the truth.
Also included are the Thundercats, GI Joe, Mazinger and Super Power toylines.
Published by Roger Press, the book will include 100-color pages on quality paper available, and can be purchased via Ebay, at the Chicago Toy Show on October 22, 2017, and through their Facebook page!
