But in the eyes of children around the world, one man stood tall — a HE-MAN to be exact. HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE was truly one of the most ubiquitous animated television programs of its time and it was only inevitable before Hollywood execs started thinking about its live-action theatrical feature adaptation. Enter the good folks over at The Canon Group, an equally ubiquitous force in the ’80s having produced some of your favourite action films growing up (MISSING IN ACTION, COBRA, etc.) who enlisted the directorial services of Gary Goddard and the thespian stylings of Dolph Lundgren and Frank Langella and together created MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE.
