LG and Prime Video Team Up to Bring Masters of the Universe Home with Special Features for Collectors and Fans
Eternia is officially making its grand return to the living room. To celebrate the streaming premiere of the new Masters of the Universe live-action film on Prime Video—directed by Travis Knight and starring Prince Adam, Teela, and Duncan as they battle Skeletor—LG Electronics has rolled out a suite of high-tech features tailored for fans and cinephiles alike.
For those of us tracking every corner of the franchise’s modern revival, this partnership brings some genuinely neat tech to the table, blending high-end display innovations with classic fan service.
Creator Original Picture Mode: Built for Eternia’s Visuals
Available exclusively on 2026 LG OLED evo models (the W6, G6, and C6 series), LG is introducing a new setting called Creator Original Picture Mode.
While Filmmaker Mode has been a staple for disabling unwanted post-processing, this new mode goes a step further. It utilizes direct picture parameters provided by studios and creators—fine-tuning shadow details, color balance, noise reduction, and motion handling. For a visually rich fantasy adventure featuring glowing Power Swords, shadowy lairs, and massive battlefield sequences, the feature is designed to ensure the film looks precisely as the creators intended on self-lit OLED pixels.
Under the hood, these TVs are powered by LG’s (Alpha) 11 processor 4K Gen 3, featuring 12-bit image processing, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos to handle everything from subtle atmospheric shadows to explosive audio design.
Say the Magic Words: “I Have the Power”
Perhaps the most fun inclusion for lifelong collectors and families is an interactive voice feature built into the LG Magic Remote.
On LG Smart TVs running webOS 23 and newer, fans can bypass scrolling through menus entirely. Simply saying the iconic transformation phrase—“I have the power!”—prompts the TV to instantly pull up the film, bonus features, and related content on Prime Video. The command is supported in multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German, offering a nice nod to the franchise’s global fanbase.
Chris Jo, head of the webOS Platform Business Center at LG, noted that the feature aims to give fans “new ways to engage with Masters of the Universe—and empowering them to relive the excitement, energy and optimism that made it iconic.”
Whether you’re gearing up for a rewatch or checking out Travis Knight’s fresh take on Prince Adam’s journey back to Eternia, the new streaming release is available to watch now on Prime Video.
