New “Forces of Evil” Featurette Debuts for MOTU Day!

Now it’s time for the villains to take the spotlight!

To keep the Masters of the Universe Day celebrations going, Amazon MGM Studios has just released a brand-new featurette titled “Forces of Evil.” While we’ve seen glimpses of the new live-action Eternia in the trailers, this deep dive gives us our best look yet at the dark side of the June 5 theatrical release.

Meet the Denizens of Snake Mountain

The featurette highlights the iconic rogues’ gallery that He-Man and the Masters will face this summer. From the strategic brilliance of Evil-Lyn to the brute force of Beast Man, the video showcases how the film is bringing these legendary characters to life with a gritty, modern edge while staying true to the 80s roots we love.

And of course, at the center of it all is the Lord of Destruction himself—Skeletor.

A Massive Rogues’ Gallery Confirmed

While Skeletor is clearly the mastermind, this featurette confirms that the film is pulling out all the stops for long-time collectors and lore experts. We get incredible new looks at a stacked roster of legendary henchmen, proving that the production team has done their homework.

Keep your eyes peeled for:

  • The Heavy Hitters: A tech-menacing Tri-Klops, a brutal Trap Jaw, and the spiky powerhouse himself, Spikor.

  • The Deep Cuts: In a massive nod to the 1987 film and obscure lore, both Karg and the cult-favorite Goat Man are officially part of the live-action “Forces of Evil!”

Seeing these characters brought to life with modern practical effects and cinematic grit is a huge win for the fandom. It’s clear that Snake Mountain is going to be a very dangerous place this June.

Legends Are Forged in Battle

The featurette reinforces the movie’s core theme: “Legends aren’t born, they’re forged.” With this many villains at Skeletor’s command, Nicholas Galitzine’s He-Man and the Masters are going to have their work cut out for them.

What do you think of the live-action designs for the villains? Does Skeletor look as menacing as you hoped? Which henchman are you most excited to see on the big screen?
