I hope the colors are a bit deeper in real life than what appears in the picture!

The purple colors are toned down quite a bit, and then they’ve added too much whitewash and blackwash colors! Unless the picture has a bad lighting effect, I think the poster looks a lot better than the actual set.

Good... At least he isn't all: "This is your Snake Mountain. Take it or leave it!"

2 things bother me a bit:
-Wolf head upside down... Hopefully they caught that mistake before production.
-Gap on Lavafall a bit too big. I understand the whole Hinge thing, but it seems I might have to make a custom rocky outcrop.
A new video from Brian Flynn showing the test shot SM, and after he's been bombarded with concerns about the wolf head's flop and they're gonna fix it:

    You’re welcome.
I didn’t get the email either because I’ve preordered mine from Entertainment Earth.

Thanks for posting this. Since I didn’t order directly from Super 7, I haven’t received this email yet.

Fans who ordered the SM from S7 got this little email update:

    Hi MOTU Fans and Customers

Super7 is happy to give you this latest Snake Mountain Update!

Skeletor’s massive fortress is well into production! The giant playset has been engineered and separated into its many pieces. The pieces range from the giant halves of the mountain itself down to each and every tiny spike on Skeletor’s Bone Throne!

Each of these parts is cast in wax or gypsum, slightly larger than the original part, to create steel tooling (see the images below).

This tooling will then be used to cast each production piece using a variety of plastic materials. The materials depend on the tolerance levels needed for each individual piece as it fits into Snake Mountain.
The next step will be the first plastic test shots from these new molds. Stay tuned for future monthly updates as we make Snake Mountain a reality!

Once again, your support and faith in this project is very much appreciated!

    Thank you,
    Super7

This baby is surely gonna take a good chunk of space in your room looking at the scale of the wax molds, better they don't screw it up, especially with the paint applications!

Good hope you won't regret it, even the lava goes with your wings' color...

Question, was the full payment required in advance from this seller since they state the following:
If this minimum is not met the Snake Mountain Playset will be cancelled and orders will be refunded.
    ?

Good, hopefully the Canadian customs aren't high if there is any on such a high value?
