Check out this awesome He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and She-Ra: Princess of Power float that appeared during the 1985 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC! Macy’s partnered with Mattel to create one of the most technically complex floats in the parade’s history, based off of the He-Man and She-Ra television programs. The float’s setting at the front is Castle Grayskull, the home of He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe. His arch-enemy, Skeletor makes an appearance, and standing on top of the Crystal Palace at the back, stands He-Man’s sister, She-Ra. The float was retired after 1986.
Introduced by Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak, the He-Man & She-Ra float featured all of our favorite characters like He-Man, Skeletor, She-Ra, Man-at-Arms, Hordak, and more!
Now let me explain this… the setting is on the planet of Eternia, and at the front is Castle Grayskull, which as I’m sure everyone knows is the home of He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe! We’ll also be seeing his arch-enemy, Skeletor, and standing on top of the Crystal Palace at the back, we’ll see He-Man’s sister, She-Ra! Let’s watch the action…
